Ahead of the two-year anniversary since Disney+’s 2019 debut, Disney is looking to boost its subscriber base beyond 116 million with a week’s worth of promotions across the company.

They include a steeply discounted one-month trial of Disney+, which is targeted to new sign-ups and certain returning subscribers, for $2 for the first month—as opposed to the regular $8-a-month sticker price.

The deal and the promotional effort, which also includes a full-court marketing press across Disney’s network shows, marks a major effort to capitalize on the success of its streaming service and hook new and returning subscribers ahead of a packed fall release schedule.
