Discovery Communications Reshuffles Its Top Ranks

Zaslav hires NBCU vet as CFO, eliminates Ligouri's position

Discovery Communications is reshuffling its executive ranks. The company announced late Monday afternoon that it would install Andy Warren—currently chief financial officer at Liz Claiborne—as its new CFO starting in mid-March.

Warren will replace Brad Singer, who gave notice this past summer that he will leave Discovery around that same time.

Before jumping to Liz Claiborne in 2007, Warren worked in cable operations at NBCUniversal, under an executive structure that was similar to the one he will be inhabiting in his new job.
