The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic meant that most people around the country remained housebound—and, in many cases, were watching television—for most of March, April and May. Higher-than-usual connected TV usage rates come even as traditional live television viewing returns to levels that were only slightly higher than in 2019, highlighting growth that’s largely unique to CTV.
