CBS TV's Detroit O&O Adds Local Newscast

WWJ-TV, CBS Television’s owned-and-operated station in Detroit, is about to add its first local newscast. Beginning May 5, the station will debut First Forecast Mornings, a live, local weekday program airing 5 to 7 a.m.

Targeting the growing and highly mobile morning audience, the content will center on on weather and traffic, as viewers get ready to head out the door. The program will also feature news headlines via a partnership with The Detroit Free Press.
