Cartoon Network and Adult Swim Chief Tom Ascheim Leaving Warner Bros. Discovery

Like TNT/TBS GM Brett Weitz, his position was also eliminated

A second WarnerMedia network chief is exiting the newly-merged Warner Bros. Discovery after their position has been eliminated by Kathleen Finch, chairman and chief content officer, U.S. Networks Group.

Tom Ascheim, who had been president, Warner Bros. global kids, young adults and classics—overseeing Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Boomerang, Warner Bros. Animation and Turner Classic Movies—is leaving the company.

His departure follows Wednesday’s news that Brett Weitz, GM of Turner networks TNT, TBS and truTV, is also exiting.

Both execs had been set to report to Finch as part of the new Warner Bros.
