AMC Networks tapped current CFO Christina Spade as its new COO following Ed Carroll’s pending departure after 34 years at the company.

Top line

Spade will take over the dual role when Carroll—who was named COO in 2009—exits the company at the end of the year. She first joined AMC Networks as its CFO in January.

Between the lines

Spade has spent her career in the media business, coming to AMC Networks from ViacomCBS, where she served as evp and CFO.
