More than four years after Amazon Prime Video first acquired the rights to make a series based on The Lord of the Rings, the company has finally unveiled its first footage from the show on the biggest possible stage: Super Bowl 56.

The streamer gave fans their first look at the upcoming series, called Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, in a 60-second teaser trailer during the game.

The series, which will premiere Sept. 2, takes place thousands of years before The Hobbit and the original trilogy during the Second Age of Middle-earth, and follows the forging of the 20 rings of power.
