The Emmys are back, and the nominees are likely streaming on a platform near you.

The 74th Emmy Awards nominations were unveiled Tuesday morning, and streamers once again dominated.

With declining linear ratings and increasing OTT investment from media companies, the trend makes sense. After all, streaming is increasingly drawing viewers in record-breaking droves. For instance, Stranger Things has had three of Nielsen’s top five streaming weeks ever, and Squid Game pulled in 1.65 billion hours watched in 28 days following its premiere last fall.

And with those increased eyeballs come advertising opportunities.
