Volkswagen Promotes Electric Charging Stations, Hiding Competitors Under Sheets

The campaign will promote the rollout of 1,600 electric charging stations across the U.K.

As car companies continue to expand their adoption of electricity fuel, Volkswagen (VW) wants to promote its 400 free charging points across the U.K., which will be made free for all other electric cars to use, too. But the automotive brand doesn’t want you to see them in its ad campaign.

Created by Adam&EveDDB, the campaign, titled “Sheets,” is part of the company’s pledge to improve cleaner driving. After the Volkswagen emissions scandal in 2015, the company has been making an effort to improve its image when it comes to environmental impact.
