The people who make up America are changing. That means the shoppers who walk down grocery store aisles looking for soap and mayonnaise are changing, too.
Between 2010 and 2020, the number of U.S. residents who identify as either Hispanic or Latino increased 23% to 62.1 million, according to the Census Bureau. The group now represents 18.7% of the total population, up from 16.3% a decade ago.
In an effort to appeal to members of this demographic during Hispanic Heritage Month, British consumer goods manufacturer Unilever has unveiled a campaign titled Nos Inspiras Tú (translation: “You Inspire Us”).
