Tim Hortons is the latest fast food company to enter the metaverse with an obstacle course game in the world of Roblox to celebrate National Coffee Day.
In the Canadian cafe chain’s game, called Tims Speed Run, players must race through hurdles ranging from spinning doughnuts and bagels to doughnut-hole boulders while carrying a tray of coffee. The Restaurant Brands International-owned company will also sell a line of merchandise, including hats, socks, a long-sleeve shirt and windbreakers, to commemorate the launch.
