As more people and companies migrate from California to Texas due to increasing costs in the Golden State, the companies that provide services to them are following their lead.
Among them, furniture subscription service Fernish, which is entering the Austin market. The startup’s service in the Texas capital follows an expansion in Dallas-Fort Worth in April, with a new distribution center located there.
The expansion into the Lone Star State follows decisions late last year by Oracle and Hewlett Packard Enterprise to move their headquarters to Texas.
