Target announced a series of leadership changes today, including tapping 14-year company veteran Cara Sylvester as its new chief marketing and digital officer.
Sylvester, who also assumes the title of executive vice president, has held a number of buyer roles at Target since 2009, most recently serving as senior vice president of merchandising for home products. In her previous role, which she assumed in March 2019, Sylvester “increased the product category’s digital penetration to a leading position within the company and consistently drove strong sales and market share gains,” according to the retail giant.
