T-Mobile Offers International Data and Gas Discounts as Part of New Travel Campaign

The carrier is betting on a surge in travelers this summer

Ahead of the summer travel surge, T-Mobile is rolling out a new campaign of perks centered on vacationers.

The carrier will offer its subscribers faster international data speeds in certain countries, free Wi-Fi on more flights and discounts at Shell gas stations through Labor Day. The new travel-themed campaign builds on T-Mobile’s long-running strategy of offering brand partner promotions in an attempt to set itself apart from its two big competitors.

T-Mobile CMO Mike Katz said the promotion was timed to the large-scale seasonal return to travel among American consumers.
