As it experiments with checkout-free and pay-by-palm technology to streamline the shopping experience (and maybe collect some additional user data), Amazon is expanding its accepted payment options to include the digital wallet Venmo.
While details were unclear as to when exactly the functionality will be available, the ecommerce giant noted that Venmo will “start to roll out to select Amazon customers” on Oct. 25 with full availability for the 83 million U.S. consumers who use the service by Black Friday.
