The NFT craze continues unabated, with more brands jumping on the trend in the early days of 2022. The latest to do so is British department store Selfridges, which claims to be the world’s first retailer to sell NFTs over the counter.

Selfridges will begin selling fixed-price NFTs in its flagship London store starting Jan. 28. More than 1,800 NFTs will be on sale, ranging in price from about $2,700 (2,000 pounds) to $137,000 (100,000 pounds), and customers can purchase them using their bank cards.
