Poshmark Hopes to Spark Joy With Marie Kondo This Spring

Spring is here, so ecommerce platform Poshmark has teamed up with tidying expert Marie Kondo on a series of 15-second ads that encourage consumers to let go of items that no longer bring them joy.

Naturally, the fashion marketplace is encouraging viewers bent on spring cleaning to list those items on Poshmark, so they can “spark joy for someone new.”

The ads, which debuted last week, will air on U.S. cable and OTT/streaming channels.

According to the company, the ads center on “the feelings of heartfelt nostalgia [when] looking at memorable clothing items—the items that brought consumers so much joy, but no longer serve a purpose in their day-to-day lives.”
