While brands like youth apparel retailer PacSun and athletic wear giant Adidas are turning to the metaverse to get Gen Z’s attention, handbag brand LeSportsac is instead going back in time in a partnership with one-time video game sensation Pac-Man.
According to an announcement, LeSportsac’s Pac-Man collection and marketing campaign pay homage to the 40-year-old video game with “backpacks, tote bags and accessories that evoke nostalgia.”
The collection itself features familiar game elements like Pac-Man characters and the maze.
