Short-form video-sharing app TikTok is reportedly the latest social platform to try to make a splash with live shopping in the U.S.

That’s according to the Financial Times, which said TikTok is in talks with social shopping network TalkShopLive on a potential offering.

TikTok and TalkShopLive did not respond to a request for comment from Adweek.

According to reports, however, a partnership with TalkShopLive would allow TikTok users to sell products through their videos. Research shows TikTok’s 1 billion monthly users—nearly half of whom are ages 10 to 29 in the U.S.—spend
