Consumer demand for weed in America may have boomed during the early days of the Covid-19 health crisis, but it was no short-lived, lockdown trend.
The green rush in the U.S.—which began in earnest in spring of 2020—will continue to pick up speed in the pandemic’s third year. And looking ahead, it’s poised to go worldwide, according to analysts at data firm BDSA.
Global cannabis sales are expected to hit $35 billion in 2022, a 22% increase over 2021.
