General Mills Promotes Doug Martin to Chief Brand and Disruptive Growth Officer

Martin's responsibilities include overseeing consumer experience and building modern brands

Consumer packaged goods giant General Mills has named Doug Martin chief brand and disruptive growth officer.

The 15-year company veteran’s duties will include overseeing business innovation, managing consumer experience and building brands geared toward modern shoppers. In his new position, which officially begins on Jan. 3, 2022, Martin will continue to report to chief strategy and growth officer Dana McNabb.

“The past two years have been a time of unprecedented disruption, and I’ve been incredibly proud of how our teams at General Mills have risen to meet that challenge,” Martin said in a statement.
