Cleancult has recruited some eager members.

Today, the young manufacturer of plant-based household cleaning products announced $25 million in new funding. Investors are a mixture of private equity and venture capital firms, including Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat Ventures and Rachel Zoe’s Rachel Zoe Venture Partners.

The number “dwarfs all other investment rounds put together,” Ryan Lupberger, Cleancult’s co-founder and CEO, told Adweek. He declined to share the company’s latest valuation.

To help reduce plastic waste, Cleancult, which debuted in 2019, sells items such as laundry detergent and hand soap in recyclable milk cartons that customers can pour into reusable glass dispensers and spray bottles.
