Amazon will soon offer state-of-the-art hair appointments with a new salon it’s opening to serve as a testing ground for retail technology like augmented reality (AR) hair coloring and point-and-learn product displays.

The 1,500-square-foot space will encompass two floors in London’s Spitalfields district, and Amazon has contracted a local independent salon owner, Elena Lavagni of Neville Hair and Beauty, to manage operations.
