Anheuser-Busch didn’t run a Super Bowl commercial for Budweiser last year, opting instead to redirect resources and marketing dollars toward educating the public on Covid-19 vaccinations. The decision broke the beer brand’s 37-year tradition of appearing in the Big Game.
This year, however, the self-proclaimed King of Beers is back, and it’ll be accompanied by a few young brands that have never stepped onto the main stage.
Anheuser-Busch has purchased four minutes of national airtime with plans to feature six brands: Budweiser, Michelob Ultra, Bud Light Next, Cutwater Spirits, Michelob Ultra Organic Seltzer and Bud Light Seltzer Hard Soda.
