Miami Heat star Alonzo Mourning is known for letting it all hang out, whether in pursuit of a hoop, a party or a charitable cause.

So it was no surprise that last week’s celebrity bash (“Zo’s Summer Groove”), benefiting South Florida’s underprivileged children, was the hottest placein Miami.

The three-day party kicked off with “Zo’s Mega-Groove Concert,” escalated into “Zo’s Big Easy,” a New Orleans-style jam, then culminated with “Zo’s Block Party,” an event attended by thousands of fans.

All that came before the basketball game, which showcased NBA stalwarts Patrick Ewing and Allen Iverson.

Mourning grew up in foster homes, so his party is not all fun and games.
