Zentropy Names Reker Interactive Marketing Director

NEW YORK Zentropy Partners has hired former Euro RSCG Circle director of media services Aimee Reker as vice president and director of interactive marketing in its Minneapolis office.

In the post, Reker, 34, will lead the 12-person media department and oversee media strategy development, planning, buying and implementation for clients such as General Mills, H&R Block, Purina and Microsoft. She replaces Mark Redetzke, who left earlier this summer, and reports to Bob Safford, evp and managing partner of the i-shop’s Minneapolis outpost.

Prior to joining Zentropy, a Los Angeles-based unit of McCann-Erickson WorldGroup’s MRM Partners Worldwide, Reker spent four years at Havas’ Euro RSCG Cirle in Boston, where she launched the media practice and developed programs for Verizon, BMW and IKEA, among others.

Before that, she served as a media planner at Interpublic Group’s Campbell Mithun in Minneapolis for three years and media supervisor at crosstown shop Initio for about two years.
