LOS ANGELES WPP Group’s Y&R has been awarded the estimated $20 million creative, media and integrated marketing duties of Advanced Micro Devices after a review, the agency confirmed.

Y&R in San Francisco and WPP siblings Mediaedge:cia, also in San Francisco, and SicolaMartin in Austin, Texas, will handle the microprocessor maker’s account, an agency representative said.

The incumbent was Interpublic Group’s McCann Erickson in San Francisco. The client could not be reached for comment.
