LOS ANGELES In a surprise move, McCann-Erickson has been selected the winner of the California Lottery’s five-year, $125 million creative and media account, pending approval of the lottery commission, the lottery said.

The Los Angeles shop was one of four finalists asked to submit new cost proposals for the media portion of the account.
