Yeon Joins FCBi as EVP, Managing Director

NEW YORK Hyo Yeon has been named executive vice president and managing director of FCBi, the interactive and direct marketing unit of Interpublic Group’s Foote Cone & Belding.

“Yeon fills a position that had been open at FCBi for nearly a year.

“We are delighted to bring a remarkably talented person such as Hyo Yeon into this key role,” said Lynne Seid, president of the New York office of FCB. “She has outstanding experience and leadership strengths that bring the best out of everyone she works with.”

Yeon, 40, comes to FCBi from Studio Red, a division of the Rockwell Group, where she was the lead client service and strategy director, working mainly on the Coca-Cola account. Prior to Studio Red, Yeon was evp, strategic development at Razorfish, responsible for driving corporate positioning and strategy. She has also served as managing director of Razorfish’s New York office.
