Yankees, McDonald’s Swing Marketing Deal

NEW YORK–Baseball’s three-time defending champion New York Yankees and McDonald’s New York Tri-State restaurants are teaming up for a marketing promotion in which consumers can instantly win one of 16,000 prizes, including Yankees tickets, dugout visits, a trip to spring training and Yankees’ 2002 season tickets. Arnold, New York, developed the promotion.

Starting Aug. 10 and running through Sept. 6, customers at participating New York Tri-State McDonald?s restaurants who purchase one of two “New York Yankees” club sandwiches with a specially marked pull-tab are eligible for the prizes.

The promotion will be featured on Yankees’ radio game broadcasts, in Yankees’ Magazine and on Matrix boards located on the Major Deegan Highway and the Yankee Stadium scoreboard.
