XCeed, CBS Expand Pact

CBS Entertainment has tapped New York-based Xceed to develop more promotional Web sites for its programs, following the success of the Xceed-produced site for the reality-based hit Survivor: The Australian Outback.

In its first two months, the Survivor site (found at www.cbs.com/survivor) has generated more than 110 million page views and 600,000 log ins for its chat feature. The site also includes an extensive Flash and video-based Outback tour and shopping at the official Survivor store. More recently, Xceed produced a companion site for the CBS program, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

With the new multiple-project engagement, Xceed says it will integrate CBS’s “branding, creative vision and content” with its own digital strategy development, technology execution and unique design. Additionally Xceed will provide analysis of all CBS sites to measure and track site trends and effectiveness in generating traffic and repeat visits.
