WSAA Bows Print for Robert Allen

BOSTON Color and creativity are central to WSAA’s first image campaign for fabric and furniture designer Robert Allen. Print ads from the Westport, Conn., shop introduce the tagline, “Be colorful.”

In one execution, golden rays stream into a room decorated with chairs and sofas covered in Robert Allen fabrics. A poodle cast in mellow hues sits atop a pillow, staring off to one side. Another ad shows rose petals blowing across an elegant room awash in sunlight.

The campaign seeks to motivate people to be more creative when they decorate, said Renee Mandis, president of independent WSAA, an acronymn for “World’s smallest ad agency.”

The client spent $3 million on ads last year, per CMR. WSAA’s effort also includes direct marketing and collateral materials.
