Woodrow Moves to TBS

TBWA/C/D Veteran Gets Reins to L.A. Office
LOS ANGELES–Deena Woodrow has been named senior vice president, general manager of TBS Media Management’s Los Angeles office.
Woodrow comes to the media planning and buying company from TBWA/Chiat/Day, Playa del Rey, Calif., where she was regional media director, partner, on the Nissan, Infiniti, Home Savings, Samsonite and Taco Bell accounts. Prior to that, she held media supervisory posts at Foote, Cone & Belding’s Los Angeles office and Tatham-Laird & Kudner in Chicago.
Woodrow replaces Paul Louis Silverman, who left last October. Since then, Marija Kosanovich has served as interim general manager. She remains senior vice president at that office and will work closely with Woodrow, according to John Wilson, TBS Media’s senior vice president, director of West Coast operations in San Diego.
“With Deena and Marija leading the L.A. team, we expect to go after large regional-size business,” Wilson said.
Woodrow, who starts her new job today, said she looks forward to working with Wilson and Kosanovich and growing the office.
“The addition of Deena Woodrow will provide TBS L.A. with strong leadership and account management to help us deliver the high standard of service our clients have come to expect,” said TBS Media president Frank Muratore.
Since last year, the Los Angeles office of New York-based TBS Media has added several new accounts, including Sony 989 Studios and the E-greetings Network. It also handles media planning and buying duties for Interplay, Ubisoft and Jamba Juice.
