Winsper Takes MDVIP

BOSTON Independent Winsper said it has been hired by MDVIP for strategic and creative marketing services. The client is a concierge physicians network based in Boca Raton, Fla.

The Boston shop will develop a multimedia program targeting consumers and physicians. Print and interactive ads, as well as events, seminars and loyalty programs, are all in the mix. There was no incumbent and spending was not disclosed.

“Key to achieving MDVIP’s goals will be creating interactions that allow consumers to not only learn about what MDVIP does, but also to experience what being an MDVIP means,” said Steve Bautista, chief creative officer at Winsper, in a statement.

MDVIP claims to serve more than 65,000 patients through nearly 200 affiliated physicians in 19 states, including California, New York, Massachusetts and Connecticut. The client’s site uses the line, “Exceptional doctors. Exceptional care. Exceptional results,” and the group in the past has sought to distance itself from the “concierge” moniker that can sometimes carry the negative connotation of providing healthcare for the very rich.

Winsper handles a mix of online and offline chores for clients such as, Exeter Hospital and Timberland Pro, among others.
