NEW YORK–Wieden + Kennedy topped the Association of Independent Commercial Producers 11th annual show, which honors the craft of commercial production. The Portland, Ore., agency garnered nine honors. Nike’s “Freestyle” spot was recognized in the categories of advertising excellence, editorial and sound design. “Tag,” also for Nike, was honored for editorial and visual style. Part of the same “Play” campaign, “Tailgating,” was also recognized for visual style. Wieden’s Miller Highlife spot “Treats for Santa” earned honors for copywriting and was part of a campaign chosen in the advertising excellence category, along with the spots “Pole Cat” and “Newlywed.”
