To mark Earth Hour on March 27, Pizza Hut asked people to turn off their WiFi for an hour, offering a free pizza to those who did.

Developed by M&C Saatchi’s United Arab Emirates office, the digital initiative by the global pizza brand aimed to encourage customers in the UAE and Oman to disconnect their mobile phones for an hour rather than switch off their lights.

Since it’s kind of hard to eat pizza in the dark, this year we wanted to encourage people to support a great cause in a different, but just as impactful, way.
