DALLAS Dieste Harmel & Partners is in final negotiations for Western Union’s estimated $10 million Hispanic ad account, according to sources.

Incumbent Zubi Advertising of Coral Gables, Fla., resigned the account in March, according to chief operating officer Joe Zubizarreta. “Indications were that the profitability was inadequate to cover manpower,” he said.

Zubi, an independent agency, had co-pitched the account last year with WPP Group’s J. Walter Thompson in Chicago and sibling Kang & Lee and independent Uniworld Group, both in New York.
