Isla Ng, a first grader from New York, beat out some 1,300 other hopefuls to become the latest spokeschild in Welch Foods’ long-running “Memories” campaign.

The nostalgia-tinged ads, which debuted in the early 1990s, first featured Travis Tedford and more recently Emily Mae Young, both of whom, unlike Ng, had some acting experience before being hired by Welch’s. Tedford and Young were replaced as their ages crept into double-digits; “Memories” is intended to depict kids ages 5-8.
