NEW YORK — Hank Wasiak, worldwide account director on Nestle, has been promoted to vice chairman of McCann-Erickson WorldGroup. He reports to WorldGroup CEO Jim Heekin.

Joop Broeren, who was McCann’s area director for northern Europe, succeeds Wasiak as on the global Nestle business, which is among the shop’s top five clients. He reports to regional director of Europe Ben Langdon. Broeren will continue to be based in London, but Wasiak will relocate from that city to New York to work with WorldGroup vice chairman and chief creative officer Marcio Moreira, who, earlier this year took on additional responsibilities as worldwide director of multinational accounts.
