WANTED: A FEW GOOD AGENCIES

Inspiration meets innovation at Brandweek, the ultimate marketing experience. Join industry luminaries, rising talent and strategic experts in Phoenix, Arizona this September 23–26 to assess challenges, develop solutions and create new pathways for growth. Register early to save.

Conflicts appear to be limiting the agency options available to the New England Ford Dealers Association. At least that’s one explanation why the group last week ran a classified in these pages soliciting proposals for its $25 million ad account.
Only agencies billing in excess of $100 million and with no conflicts need apply. That would disqualify most of Boston’s top shops and put the account on a fast track to J. Walter Thompson in Detroit, said a source.
