Walsh Turns Games Into Serious Business

BOSTON Walsh PR said it has added T.J. Gear and Aleken Games to its roster.

The Westport, Conn.-based independent public relations shop will craft publicity initiatives designed to support new product lines from both companies.

Aleken Games markets the Rock and Roll Triviologies board game. Walsh will back the company’s sales efforts through a grassroots campaign that will include sending out teams to play the game at large concert venues and festivals.

Walsh will also handle media relations and public outreach for T.J. Gear, which makes Boxum and its kid-friendly counterpart, Boxum Alphabet Animal Zoo.

“It’s exciting to be working with Walsh PR,” said Pete Bell, creator of Boxum and director of new products at T.J. Gear. “They are a firm with experience and expertise in handling corporate image and products, particularly in the toy and game industry.”

Walsh PR’s client roster also includes Oregon Scientific, Parklife Games and R&R Games.
