In a follow-up to its “This Is Our Shot” campaign unveiled in April, Walgreens is once again attempting to convince Americans to get their vaccines in a new integrated brand campaign called “Before You Go There, Start Here.”

The pharmacy chain said it is rolling out this latest messaging, which will run through November, just in time for both the flu season and in anticipation of Covid-19 booster shots.

“As people sheltered in place, the Covid-19 pandemic significantly disrupted routine health care, contributing to a decline in vaccination rates across all age groups and putting communities at risk for avoidable outbreaks in preventable illnesses like flu, meningitis, shingles or pneumococcal pneumonia,” Pat McLean, Walgreens’ CMO, told Adweek.

“This new campaign seeks to further solidify Walgreens as a vaccination destination where customers can easily and conveniently access the immunizations they need to help protect themselves and those around them,” he said.
