CKPR was tapped to handle Visit Florida’s $175,000 public relations campaign to convince tourists that the hurricane-ravaged state is still worth a visit, along with a new program to back its small towns, the shop said. CKPR, Chicago-based independent Cramer-Krasselt’s PR arm, bested Omnicom’s Fleishman Hillard in Miami; independent Lou Hammond & Associates in New York; and independent Yesawich, Pepperdine, Brown & Russell in Orlando, Fla. CKPR will handle the work out of its New York and Orlando offices.
