Canadian agency Vickers & Benson this week will announce the opening of a full-service office here, its first in the U.S.
Named president of the office was Bill Flynn, who has headed his own agency here, Pierson & Flynn, after stints with Young & Rubicam in Chicago and New York.
The office opens with $20 million in billings from clients Harris Bank and the Canadian Tourism Commission, previously handled from the agency’s Toronto headquarters. That financial base sets it apart from pure startups, said Vickers chairman John Hayter, and will help it add other clients.
