After working with Young & Rubicam’s branding division for about two months, Internet security firm Veri Sign has handed the agency its estimated $70 million ad business. The win marks the third time the San Francisco shop has picked up an account through its six-person brand-consulting arm.

Austin McGhie, Y&R president and CEO, said the branding group, which works with clients to develop creative brand strategies, was not set up to lure potential full-service clients.
