U.S. Mint Awards Coin Promotion To The Ad Store

The U.S. Mint has awarded a creative assignment to The Ad Store without a review.

The shop, which operates solely on a project assignment basis, will promote a new commemorative dollar coin celebrating the 1,000th anniversary of Viking Leif Ericsson’s discovery of America.

The Ad Store has created print advertising for newspaper and coin- collecting specialty publications, a direct mail piece, display posters and collateral materials.

The U.S. Mint has unbundled its creative account over the past two years. Media duties are handled internally by the client.

Billings for the assignment were not disclosed.

The U.S. Mint and The Ad Store are both based in Washington, D.C.
