Grocery Chain Talks to Texas Agencies About Creative Account
DALLAS–United Supermarkets, a 40-store grocery chain in West Texas, has launched an agency review for its estimated $500,000 advertising account.
The review involves creative services only. Media is handled internally by the client.
Six to eight Texas agencies are said to be pitching the account. Presentations were made last week at United’s headquarters in Lubbock, Texas.
No budget has been given to the contenders, but 1998 spending totaled $462,000 according to Competitive Media Reporting.
