Underscore Adds Six Clients

Underscore Marketing LLC, a six-month-old company that specializes in cross-platform communications, has added six new clients and three new executives.

The New York-based shop was started in May by former Tribal DDB chief media officer Tim McHale and former Mezzina Brown & Partners chief Internet strategist Tom Hespos, Underscore’s CEO and president, respectively [IQ Daily Briefing, May 13].

Among Underscore’s new clients are Norelco, CMG Communications and DoubleClick, McHale said. The shop is acting as a media consultant for Norelco, a division of Philips Electronics North America. CMG Communications in New York has tapped Underscore to do interactive media buying for its Virgin Atlantic Airways client and DoubleClick in New York has asked the shop to provide training services for its sales and product development teams.
