NEW YORK – The network marketplace has finally kicked into gear over the last week, with the best estimate that there’s $75 million worth of primetime scatter money working now. ‘It’s not dribs and drabs – there are some sizable budgets,’ said NBC exec vp Larry Hoffner. He estimates the four networks collectively need $125 million to finish off 3rd QTR. ‘This is a wave and you don’t know how long it’ll last,’ he said, ‘but we’re confident we’ll at least reach our objectives, as meager as they are.’
