BOSTON Townsend Inc. said it has added Toshiba America Electronic Components to its roster for integrated branding chores.

“We plan to develop a brand platform that will further strengthen TAEC’s industry presence in the U.S. market and create campaigns that will increase awareness for Toshiba’s leading-edge technologies,” said Jackie Townsend, the CEO and founder of the independent agency in San Diego.

Toshiba spends more than $50 million overall on annual domestic advertising, and about $5 million to support its TAEC offerings, per TNS Media Intelligence.
